What is it in reality? I’ve seen men getting too much attention for their sexual orientated jokes but after a while they start sounding absurd and you think is that all there is? Is that all what they can talk about id est joke about women and sex?
So what is the true sense of humour sound like?

LMAO! A sense of humor is not that you find jokes funny. But more importantly that you can understand that something is a joke. Its about realising that something is said in jest and not to get your panties in a bunch.
Like right now some people will get all hot and bothered about Jaanwar's joke. It is made in jest and yet people can not accept that and will call it crass and rude and what not. That is the inability to take a joke. Or lacking a sense of humor.
Additionally ones sense of humor is not at all related to sexual jokes or sexual innuendos.

I like sharp and witty humour, so it’s individual. For me, having a sense of humour means seeing the value in lightening up the situation when needed, and when appropriate.

sense of humor is probably one of the most important traits to have...its not just making stupid jokes but generally NOT being uptight.

It should also be spontaneous and the timing has to be right! A joke shouldn't be repeated to such an extent that it becomes stale and uff-so-boring.
ex. I don't trust anything that bleeds for 7 days..
A person with a sense of humour, taking 'digs' at others should also be able to handle them when others do the same.

First of all dirty joke have categorise. Like a normal dude I enjoy them very much.
But They should not have any actual dirty word in them.
For example.
A landlord type, when got married give wife 500RPs.
Wife: what for?
LL: never bn with a women with paying her
Wife: you my hubby you realise that??
LL: yeah but I never did with out paying
Wife, takes 500 and give back 250.
LL: what for ?
Wife: I never charged any one extra

i told the following joke to a chick at work and she loved it:
a woman is riding on a plane and suddenely the pilot comes on and says that they are almost out of fuel. So they will crash in the sea, and there will be no survivors. The woman horrified at first, stands up, rips her blouse and says “Any man here who can make me feel like a REAL woman”.
The guy sitting right next to her, stares for a few seconds, rips his shirt off and while pointing to hist shirt on the ground says “Iron this…”

I said it once and I say it again. For some weird reason, two categories of jokes are very popular, those that involve human digestive system and those that involve human reproductive system. Maybe its the otherwise private nature of those two categories that make them such a popular joke topic.

And there are thousands of clean jokes on man/woman, marriage, relationship, politics, ethnic jokes, blond jokes,....They are means of entertainment.
But I think sense of humor is not only about jokes and their understanding. Sense of humor also applies to day to day affair among people and making something funny out of some usual daily activities, words, rhyming etc.....some may call it being witty.
Borat has some good humor but he crosses lines to become 'chichora' or obnoxious...
Men do like sexual jokes more than women and it is universal. Nothing to do with culture or geography. Depends on a particular women, they may like those jokes too.
