POSITION TITLE: Senior Telecom Analyst
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform analysis of Telecom vendor CDR (Call Detail Records) to determine that their billing is accurate and that vendors are performing within defined quality parameters.
· Manipulate and analyze the CDR (Call Detail Records) data to allow assignment of appropriate costs to services, platforms and departments.
· Develop standard reports to summarize and monitor the data. Analyze the data and identify any issues that may indicate quality or billing issues.
· Develop standard operating procedures for telecom facilities to collect, organize, and standardize facilities cost data. Organize data into information for use by all departments in the company.
· Interface with telecom vendors during weekly conference calls to manage specific vendor deliverables.
· Responsible for collecting and analyzing data for the development of budgets and strategic plans.
· Cross training of all telecom facility functions to assist during peak demand cycles and emergency back up.
· Responsible for coordinating the order process both internally and externally for half of all telecom facilities orders.
· Interface with operations to understand the application and order requirements and then bid out the requirements to multiple carriers to obtain the best price.
· Daily responsibility for monitor all orders in process and update remedy or the NPS with the status.
· Special projects on an as needed basis.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· This function will require skills in using all MS applications especially Access and Excel to manipulate large amounts of data from the vendor CDR files and EasyLink back office systems files.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple departments to receive data and organize it into information.
· At least four years of business experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects through multiple departments.
· Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables in a constantly changing dynamic environment.
· Experience in order provisioning in the Telecommunications industry required.
· College degree in computer science preferred.
