How odd is such a couple? If they do not have an affair but if the boy likes the girl, what are the chances that people would not be okay with such a couple and would ruin their reputation even if its all in the decent manner.
This is actually the case of my to-be dewar, he confided in me that he likes a girl who is senior from his college and he hopes to marry her following the proper way, but he worries that he & the girl’s reputation may be worthlessly ruined which should not be, specially for the girl.
My comments? Dont worry about what other people will think, just do whats best for yourself. If someone wants to gossip about a girl who marries someone a year or 3 younger than herself, that makes her a bad person? Thats pretty small-minded thinking yeah?
I've had all sorts of things said about me lol. My husband is a bit younger than me. He's also a bit shorter than me. I'm a gori and I have an autistic son. So....you can just imagine the vast amount of fodder I provide to the gossip mill lol! Do I care? Nota bit! I married the best man on the planet and I am thankful each and every day for the beautiful man I married and the blessings of the boys we have together.
...you just gotta train em right. On my birthday last year, I went to pick up the boyz at school and the teachers and aides, principal and secretaries were all giggling and wishing me a happy "23rd birthday" lol!!! The year before, they were wishing me a happy 22nd! The boys really keep track and they know that my next birthday will be my "24th" ... and they tell me "wow mama, you're getting OLD!" :(

the girl's reputation will be ruined just because she is marrying a younger guy? why? i don't get it. or is it because its a love match which is scandalous?
^ A lot of the older generation have this idea that as the couple get older the wife will start to look 'worse' than hubby altho they're the same age.. I think also there's the reasoning amongst some ppl that she might able to 'look after' him better if he's say in his 60s and she's ten yrs younger..
I'm a few months older than my fiance but ppl always assume he's older, even if they didn't tho it wouldn't bother me one bit.
