I know now I have gotten a reputation for opening threads in the wrong forum but I dont know what ur supposed to post where…

anyway, can some1 please tell me a website from which I can send free text messages to mobile phones in Pakistan?

sms.ac doesn’t charge a penny but this service is not available for Pakistan. They don’t activate this service for our cell phones :frowning: so you can try www.sms2pk.com

i wouldn’t trust sms.ac if i was u guys. i signed up with them once and after every half hour, i would receive texts asking me to sign up to a dating service??? and i was charged for even reading those messages. so in the end of this saga, i lost a lot of credit :bummer:

^ yep i lost around 5 - 6 pounds just reading their unwanted texts and even texting back END NOW didn’t do much, i started receiving more :smack: but shukar alhamdulilah it’s under control now.

btw, how have u been lately

This also allows interactive chat sessions - I have tried this with Ufone and it works wonders - But only if the service is running at that particular time - its free, so you can’t lose!!.. BUT I THINK THE BEST IS TO BE ABLE TO MAKE TELEPHONE CALLS TO PAK FOR FREE IF U’R IN THE UK AND AT WORK - - TRY THE MANY ACCESS NUMBERS THAT ARE AVAILABLE!.. MESSAGING WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST! :slight_smile:

this is exactly what happened to me. you get charged for receiving messages. I realised much later and thats when I stopped it. cheats :disgust:

sms.ac is a fake site IMO.
They somehow grab e-mail addresses from your address book and send you an e-mail invite from that person. I have recv'd email invites from friends when they never sent anything via sms.ac
I think it is a spam site.
