Is it safe to use some website to send messages to friends? Do they use it for spam or anything? Are there any reliable places you can send mesasges from? Thanks.
I use the SMS service provided by my ISP.....that one's pretty safe. Haven't tried any commercial one yet though

The best place to send an SMS to a cell phone would be from the website of that cell phone company itself. Almost all companies offer this facility on their websites.
