sending multiple PM's

salams

i am sorry that i’ve been harping abt this for some time now n i know u guys just implemented the urdu thingie so u dont need another project in ur hands now…

but..

just when u get time and when u decide on more features to add…

it would be really nice if u can look into the multi recipient pm system…

right now the only way to do it is to go into the buddy list, choose buddies and compose a message to 5 at a time max…

even for forwarding messages directly from sent messages or from inbox to more than one person one has to go thru the buddy list, choose the buddies, and then copy n paste the original message into the fresh pm…there is no way to just type in the names of multiple recipients into the recipient’s list…

and this whole process is kinda a tedious one for lazy ppl like me…

hope i am making sense here n explaining the prob correctly :mudhosh:

khayr just something i thought i shud bring up again  this issue comes up like on eid and other occasions when i send out multiple recipient pm’s and right now for kasoty

sorry dont mean to be greedy and want all these features… coz what is there right now is awesome too but it would be super awesome if these features could be implemented anytime in the future

thanks!!

Re: sending multiple PM’s

If I am understanding this correctly, you mean that when forwarding a message through the buddy list, you still have to copy and paste the original message into the new PM? Sorry, is that what you mean?

When you would like to forward a message to individuals on your buddy list (either from your ‘Inbox’ or from your ‘Sent Messages’ folder), just open that particular message, then choose “fwd to buddies”. Now select the names you would like to forward your message to, then click on “Compose message”. (Now you have the option of removing the

tags if you want). This allows you to forward a message to multiple individuals via your buddy list – without having to unnecessarily copy and paste the original message repeatedly.

I am not certain if this is infact what you are asking about, so I apologize if it wasn’t.

She means that instead of going thru the buddy list and selecting multiple people to send a PM, the nicks should be directly entered in the "To" field, separated by commas. That way folks don't have to add newer nicks to their buddy list all the time.

This is what we had in the previous version. In the new version, instead, the Buddy system is used.

Your point is noted. If our technical folks can incorporate this feature in the next update, I am sure they will.
