sending a parcel from the uk

My mum is sending me stuff from uk. It will contain a textbook some makeup a mp3 and some vitamins.will this be OK to send. Will I receieve it. I don’t want pak post office or even in uk to take things out.vitamins are OK to send?

Should.it be registered delivery?

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

is pakistan post even reliable. I wouldn’t be surprised if you stuff is damaged/mishandled or lost in transit. I don’t think you would have any problem with multivitamins. Customs people are usually looking for high value stuff. Occasionally they might open the bottle and may reseal it. If you want you can empty it and put in a ziplock bag

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

and I am impressed, you have lowered the number of periods used in your post

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

^ There ain’t no period in above post.

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

The vitamins will be ok. I posted my mums insulin when my dad accidentally put it in the freezer instead of the fridge. She needs to send it by registered post as in the past I have posted things like eid cards which haven’t reached. It takes about a week.

Another time I used DHL (now called yodel) to send important original documents, it cost about £40 and only took 2 days. I trust them more. But your items are heavier and can be replaced to I would just post them at the post office, they will ask your mum what’s inside and let he know if its banned from being posted.

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

I use Pak Cargo. They send stuff (other than electronics) at £1.50 per kg plus £3 for their bag. Goods are received in Pakistan in 7-8 weeks.

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

I would also recommend a cargo service Nadz. It’ll take a few weeks to arrive to you but at least you’ll get it.

Re: sending a parcel from the uk

Yes, full stops. In the US, they are called periods.
