Senate Polls: PML-N, PPP discuss seat adjustment in Punjab

All of a sudden, after their apparent belligerence, it appears Sharif Brothers and PML (N) are falling in line. They are taking seriously the threat to their Punjab government posed by PPP and PML (Q). Now PML (N) want seat adjustments with PPP in Punjab. Interesting times ahead.

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (N) has contacted Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for seat adjustment in Punjab for senate elections.

     PPP Secretary General Jahangir Badar met with PML-N President and Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif in Raiwind.

     Talking to Geo News after the meeting, Jahangir Badar said Mian Shahbaz Sharif has assured him that PML-N would continue its support for the continuation of democratic process.

     Badar added that consensus on seat adjustment in Punjab would leave positive impact on the masses.

When Musharraf, an illegitimate military dictator, was forging alliances with looters (Benazir/Zardari), murderers (MQM), and extremists (MMA) through illegal means Aalsi had no problems with it, and gave him his blessings, but when a democratic party does that with another democratic party using fair means, people like Aalsi make an issue out of it. This is why democracy has failed us, this so called support based on ethnio personal lines.
