So the legislature is doing it’s job. Good.

Is the executive going to enforce these laws? Will they be prosecuted in Pakistani courts. Color me skeptical, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

You are absolutely right.

Unfortunately laws are made and selectively implemented around the world, especially when it comes to rich and powerful. Pakistan is no exception.

Few examples are:

• Very strict anti terrorism laws in the US, but the main presidential candidates openely and very clearly promoting terrorism in foreign countries. They will never be prosecuated.
• War criminals from around the world are being brought before ICJ in The Hague, but no American is EVER punished there.

And so on.
