The Shiv Sena is again playing moral police again; it has decided to teach Kareena kapoor a lesson or two on Indian values. Kareena’s latest film Qurban has the actress barebacked in all the posters that have cropped up as the promotion of the film.
The Shiv Sena in Mumbai feels that this is corrupting young school going kids in the city, they says that Kareena is involved in unwarranted sleaze to promote the film. As a reminder to Kareena about her Indian values, the Shiv Sena has sent a nice Mahrashtrian sari to the actress’s house. They are suggesting that she should wear it and appear in public. Kareena has declined to comment on the issue.

Even if he is giving the sari to teach a lesson on modesty, why would he do it now? She’s worn revealing clothes in past movies.
In some movies, she has bared her tummy. Oh, wait a minute, baring a tummy doesn’t warrant a sari since many people do the tummy flash in saris.
Now, if Kareena wears a sari that has a low back, would Sena still feel the need to send her a sari? Maybe one that covers more? Did he really think that she would never go this route? Didn’t he learn anything from Karishma?
And why only stop at Kareena, why not mail a sari to other flesh flaunting actresses? He’s wasting his time. Few people would be motivated to wear a gift given with the intention to scold or shame. He’s better off teaching the general population of women to wear saris that flatter their figures more.
