Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

I wanna dye my hair a lighter color, however i dont know if i want it forever…i was thinking of getting the store bought semi permanent hair dye’s, and needed reviews for it

what do you guys think? anyone used it?

recommend a good hair color/brnd for pretty brown chestnut colored hair?

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

Use Lakme gloss hair colour, they are semipermanant www.Lakme.com

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

i would also like semi-permanent hair colour - but thing is i've used do it yourself ones, and the colour doesn't seem to ever come through? I've used loreal one's! Does anyone have any tips or products i can use?

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

I think no hair colour is permanent and does not last forever. It is so true for reds. The red colour in my hair always starts to fade away after like 2 weeks and becomes brownish. If a hair colour was permanent, my grand ma wouldn't have needed to dye her grey hair black every once in awhile.

Agreed

Anyways back to the OP's question try L'oreal hair dye

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

I think this semi permanent and permanent is the biggest advertising catch ever!!! even permanent hair color goes away after a month !

So why not just choose the color that you like the best , and ignore the semi and the permanent bit , rather focus on no ammonia bit ... thats what will save your hair in the longer run.

I personally love Loreal .. they have the best color collection ....

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

Loreal never shows up on my hair - i've heard that people keep it on longer which dye's it..is that true?

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

I usually keep it on for 30 minutes and it comes out fine

Do you have thick and dark hair? if you try this new hair color called Live , I bet you will love it ... I tried it once and am totally in love with it .... but it doesnt have all the color variations that I love ... I have tried their chocolate , and black red , colors and they are awesome ...

Re: Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes

basically its not colour that wash it its your roots that grow .Semi permananat colour disappear completely on 15-20 wash ,that is not the case in permanant dye.The dierence between permamant an semi perm is that semi perm are without ammonia while permananat have some quantity o ammonia even Loreal have ammonia.permanant colour molecule is smaller & can penetrate into hair while semi permanant molecules are smaller.
