UGh! my family all greys early and I am too!! !
i was wondering if anyone knew of good semi permanent colors that will cover grey and last longer than 1-2 shampoos on desi hair?
have you tried the clairol products? Those work pretty well from what I can tell looking at my mum and all. You can always go the natural way and try 'henna' to color your greys which lasts over 2 weeks for sure!
Amelie, what brands have you used so far?
walla from sally's
l'oreal
and i'm staying away from henna for two reasons...
one color is too harsh imo and uncontrolable
2nd it is super permanent and there's no real way to remove it either..
and well 3rd it's messy..
i've heard other vegetable/natural hair dyes end up putting products onto hair..causing more problems...
I used L'Oreal Feria twice and wasn't too impressed both times. The few times I've coloured my hair at home, Nice n' Easy by Clairol has done more than a sufficient job. It covers everything ... plus, now they have the new one with added highlights. It really does look as if there are a few highlights here and there in your hair. I find their colours to be much nicer than L'Oreal too.
