Actually, it was the Moin Khan game. Miandad was at the non striker’s end when Moin Khan hit the winning boundaries.. a six and a four. Without those two boundaries, the match might have gone to the last ball.

I agree, there was no one man show during that world cup, different players delivered at different times, under the leadership of imran khan. Luck was on our side. Getting 1 point from england, and then australia beating WI in the last match, allowing us to get the final slot in the semi finals. There was no 3rd umpire in that world cup. They were first introduced in 1993 I guess in total cricket series in SA. Imagine what would have happened if there was a third umpire in semi final. Miandad was clearly run out i guess twice but the field umpire was not able to see clearly. It was our destiny to win 92 WC.
