A bit about SEM first… SEM stands for Scanning Electron Microscope. Its a microscope that uses electrons instead of light to form an image. It can magnify objects up to 500,000 times and is one of the most useful instruments in research today.
The images formed under a scanning electron micrsocope are always amazing to look at! We will be posting SEM images in this thread and you will have to guess what the image is of! If you’re stuck, we will give hints.
