Assalamoalaikum, ppl i want to start selling on ebay, i’ve read the listings ki prices et cetera but i don’t get them? + their guide to selling isn’t very helpful…
plz could u lot who have sold stuff b4 on ebay or anyone who has knowledge of such stuff leave here guidelines of listing charges etc, no links personal input only!

Ive done loads of buying and selling on Ebay.
The pricing structure is really complicated.
For example if you are selling something and your start price is £4.99 then Ebay charge you less than if your start price was £29.99.
Also, if you add extra photos or special listings you get charged more and then Ebay will also charge a final fee. The fees dont appear to be high but if you add them all up they can be around £5 on an item that sold for about £40 (very rough example).
However, there is a website that gives you a good guide (not sure if its out of date) but I use it. I came across it online.

Yes it is true.
If you sell something for £100 you will be charged around £1 to list it on ebay and around £4 as a final fee - this varies based on several factors:
1) your start price of the auction
2) your end price
3) any enhancements you added (ie extra photos, bold listings etc)
Also if you join paypal (which is a money transfer system), you will have to pay 4% of any money you RECEIVE not send.
