that’s not fair bringing up her past and saying her b/f used to cheat on her. what was the need to bring all that up? they have obviously worked things out, are content and are getting married.
so what if it costs money to go to her wedding? who travels for free to a wedding?! are you that cheap as a friend that you wouldn’t go just because of a train ticket? book 2-3 weeks in advance to get cheaper rail tickets!
i would think your friend’s wedding celebrations are more important to you than your boyfriend’s birthday! your boyfriend’s bday celebrations come yearly…getting married for most is once in a life time thing. do you and your boyfriend plan to celebrate all day or something? and what exactly have you both planned which is so worth missing your friend’s dolki?
why can’t you compromise with your friend instead of making things so much harder for her. celebrate your boyfriend’s birthday in the afternoon and celebrate her dolki at night. this is the time when she needs your support or does it bother you that she is getting married and you can’t share in her happiness?
and don’t expect her to arrange her wedding plans around you! that can’t be done. don’t be jealous for her happiness - be happy for her.
