do u ladies (ok guyz can join in too :P) take some time off to de-stress and rejuvinate maybe after weeks/mths of rushing thru day-to-day life? and wat kinda stuff do u do to pamper urself or juz to get awayyyy from all that stress?
i juz got back from an indonesian island where i did a 1 hr body massage, 45 mins body scrub, 45 mins facial, 45 mins cream massage for the head, wash and blow my hair and while they were doing the head… they actually massaged my hands and arms! and all that for a mere US $20!!! i mean tats like really DE-stress, really takes the stress off financially as well hehehe…
I go out with my frens, go out bowling, watch movies and eat! Basically long driving with some music on is my biggest stress reliever. If thats not then cry out in my mom's lap :)
Once a week, I go for a manicure and pedicure which takes about 1.5 hours. I go in, get a girly magazine, turn off my cell, turn ON the massge chair, and get lost in my own world. :)
Music. Going to the bookstore, taking a bunch of books from the shelves that look interesting, and reading them crouched on the floor. Fruit smoothies. Buying myself diaries and different types of pens. Going to kitschy hole in the wall stores and checking out weird small-business produced stuff. Reading. Eating tiramisu.

$20 seem cheap even for Indonesia! Which Island would that be? You did not swim to Batam? Did you?
i think thats the general perception of batam we all have, but when i landed there it was pretty much more decent lookin, developing very rapidly... and i found out its quite a popular family vacations spot! seasports, resorts etc
yeah da sleazy bars and da flesh trade is of course rampant, juz avoid those areas and those people. specially after dawn.
I try to go for a massage every month or every other month, lekin I have only gone once this year. :( Massages and yoga type of exercises help me relax/destress.
my rewarding procedure is a bit weird.. i head over to gym, kill the body, come home with a banana strawberry honey shake, smoke sheesha, then get in bed with socks, sweats and PJs...
