Self Medication

Re: Self Medication

hahaha
My husband was talking to our doctor about his back hurting , and the dr. asked him if he took any pain-killers.
Thinking he’d get a lecture about how you shouldn’t self-medicate yourself, he said ‘No’.
And the dr says ‘Why?Are you Super-man?’
LOL It seriously cracked me up.

When in fact he takes Tylenol every time anything hurts, and I’m the one who’s like slow down buddy.
I’m the one that tries to avoid medication. :bummer:

It seems like desis LOVE Antibiotics...flu huwa antibiotics le lo, fever huwa antibiotics le lo...They'll use it for ANYTHING and it's so dangerous. Antibiotics don't do jack for viral infections, they're used for bacterial infections which last for more than 2 weeks. I did some research a few months back because someone in my family kept insisting that I can take antibiotics by myself without doctor's permission whenever I'm sick and I found out that people who use antibiotics frequently can become resistant to medication!!!

minor aches ke liye to koi bhee nahi leta painkiller, Maroush

Re: Self Medication

1st situation:

The person shouldnt complain about headache and what not if he/she aint gonna take the meds. The rest of us are not interested to be honest in how much pain you are in. I know quite a few of the type, who just keep on eating your head and when you suggest "have a paracetamol" they go all "no no" .. Uff..

2nd situation:

Thats just so wrong!! COMPLIANCE people COMPLIANCE! We desis people are probably the worst to apply compliance during medication. I soo wanna do a thesis about that

Re: Self Medication

What about those that say: "Allopathic dawa'ain mujhe suit nahin karteen" while they are writhing in pain from a migraine......
