Come across any good ones? Had any life-changing experiences after reading one? I’m into DIY these days, so let me know of any you’ve read/are reading. I was chatting to a guppy male and he’s reading one by Dr. Phil, I must say I was rather surprised, but it was good to know that desi males are concerned about their personal development!
Re: Self-Help Books
Hmm I read one I tink but I forget as soon as I put the book down...but my guru (God Bless Him) always instills me with a lil life changing advice now and then. :D
Re: Self-Help Books
you mean “the guru”…hehehe now that’s not the kind of advice I need LK :nono:
Apart from Covey’s 7 Highly Effective Habits (which we had to do in school), I haven’t read much myself. But it was pretty good.
Re: Self-Help Books
no no not "the guru" I already know everything he can possibly teach ;)
Re: Self-Help Books
Nafsiatey tootkey in akhbar-e-jahan …does that count ![]()
Re: Self-Help Books
How about Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" and "The quick and easy way to effective speaking"? I really liked them. His writing style is quite convincing.
