Re: Self-Grooming tips?

Get a haircut. Shorten the length and get it layered. Maybe get a fringe.

Re: Self-Grooming tips?

-oil them

  • use a good conditioner

-make sure the hair looks shiny (use a serum)...sometimes it's just really dry and needs your attention.

-suck it up :( and do a braid, messy bun, side bun, the regular hair bun. you get the point :(

-you could straighten them a lil bit every day? i try to avoid it.

Re: Self-Grooming tips?

Curly, dry hair:

Use serum to gloss and de frizz your hair
Accesorise it with hair accessories
Apply some curling mouse to define the curls and maybe do half up half down hair-do?

I have curly dry hair so i usually follow the above^

Your hair is exactly like what? The hip-length one or ultra long? For starters you should get it trimmed so it isn’t super long. If you like long, keep it till the waist or a bit below and shape the ends so they aren’t bluntly straight but rather a soft U shape. And if you open your hair, remember to straighten it with an iron or blowdryer so it isnt poufy/frizzy and has some shine. Do not iron it with oil in it as you will fry your hair.

Try getting it trimmed, and making it a bit below the waist. Any longer and it starts to look outdated. This is a good style for longer hair: http://www.allcelebrityhairstyles.com/nicole-scherzinger/nicole-scherzinger-hairstyles.jpg

It is lightly layered and not too long, it looks like it’s below the waist or 1-2 inches above the hips.

Like Cuppy said above, I also have curly hair, and what I do is I apply a leave-in-conditioner, then I apply some mousse+curl gel (which works with a diffuser so it doesnt make it crunchy like regular gel) and then with a diffuser (it’s attached to a blowdryer) I flip upside down and “Scrunch” it upwards until my spirly-curls form. Or I straighten it, always use a heat protectant before hand.
