Sometimes it is not high self esteem but - actually shamelessness or ‘besharmi’ on the part of other people that is mistaken for it..
In poorer nations or situations such as pakistan people often adapt into becoming oppurtunists.

I think this is what I meant when i said thye have their priorities set in place, i mean the people i come across have two things on their mind…education and family and nothing stops them in striving for the best, whereas girls here might have fantastic oppertunities yet seem so insecure.
