Self-constraint

Are you able to suppress your internet addiction during Ramadan? :hehe: Do you spend less/more/same time on the computer as you would otherwise?

I still spend a good bit of time on the net (not for work purposes) and I know I shouldn’t lekin ki kariye… =(

Re: Self-constraint

emm .. whats wrong spending time on internet during ramdan .. ? unless you aren’t doing something wrong.

In my case, my other activities like prayer/traveeh has been increased, so i don’t get time for internet that much. other than this, I am online all the time.

Re: Self-constraint

No..

i spend almost the same amount of time.

Re: Self-constraint

mera bas chalay to 24/7 yehi kaam karon :cb: but WAPDA and other things don’t let me

Re: Self-constraint

so much decrease in my internet acctivity ..mainly due to the fact that i ve got alot on my plate including learning the Quraan and leading the Traveeh in the evening

Re: Self-constraint

I could be spending this time right now on reciting more Quran but I choose not to. That’s what sounds wrong and makes me feel guilty - that the net is more important to me than ibadat. I’ve been reading two chapters everyday but why not read more (with translation) instead of bongiyan maaring on the net. :bummer:

Re: Self-constraint

I usually have a window on for non-business sites, at work. Mostly window is on GS, but could be Gmail, yahoo, Jang, Craiglist. After work, I hardly logon. So my intenret activities do not interfere with my priorities during ramadhan.
