Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

Again without any solid evidence mun phaar deya. Maan iss insan nai Pakistan ko budnaam kerney ka thaika leya howa hai. If he want to be so blunt in his statements, he should have evidence ready to back it up.

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

Why did the interviwer did not ask him to name the ex cricketer who told zoni to stay away from the MM?
How did that ex cricketer know a it mm, Was that cricketer in past involved with spot fixing, was he ever approached by mm but he denied to become part of spot fixing group? Why did he not share tha info with PCB or ICC?

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

How can he have a evidence of something like that happening ?
If the people who were accepting bribes as he said, they will make sure there is no proof of it. It is bribe no receipt is issued and no invoice or bill is raised. It is all under the table. He might have been asked for bribe at his time.

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

How come we have evidence against Salman, Aamir and Asif?

How come we had evidence against Cronjue?

Hoe come we had evidence against Azheruddin?

I guess they all issued receipts to bookies after fixing the match?

like Rs 15 lakh hamil haza sai rishwat k taur per wasool keyee

If a person has no proof they should keep their mouth shut or go to proper authority instead of just giving interviews.

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

^ if he can't prove things with concrete evidence that police investigation units can present.. he should at least come out with all the names and details of incidents..

All I see him do everytime is make claims of corruption but then no details or names

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

I can't believe the people here! For the first time, a guy is willing to stand up and expose the corruption, and all we can say is curse him and denigrate him for sullying Pakistan's name? Hello!

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

I cant believe you.

He had honest chance to name every single corrupt person of Pakistan cricket when he was in England. I just wonder why he did not do it. At max this can be call mud slinging.

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

I can only laugh who believes him anyway :rotfl:

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

How much till will he take :konfused:

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

brahmchar bro: I will be really surprised if you support Haider. DC6 has summarized it quite well. This loser had every chance of naming anyone but he did NOT do it only to realize his asylum case isnt happening. So why did he not do it? because of family? How come his family is all secure and safe now? Not much has changed since then

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

We all know that the game of cricket is corrupt in Pakistan. Even our heroes have been involved in match fixing and other nefarious activities (Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Inzimam, Saeed Anwar, Salim Malik etc.). And all this has been going on for years because no-one has had the courage to come out openly against it. Whenever anything has been said implying match-fixing, corruption, we have rallied in favor of the accused, citing racism, conspiracies, etc. etc.

We all have cursed Kamran Akmal for his lousy wicket-keeping and his role in losing the Sydney Test, yet we find it hard to believe when Zulqarnain says that the Akmal brothers have a hold on Pakistan cricket. How many times have you seen Akmals being discarded from the team (other than now) despite their atrocious performances? Have you ever wondered why? What keeps them in the team?

If there's a massive betting mafia with huge resources, then doesn't it make sense that they'd exert control and influence over team selection, through any means possible, by hook or by crook, by bribing or by threatening? Do you remember Wasim Akram's father being kidnapped after 1996 World Cup because one betting group got pissed at him for not playing the Quarter Final? Won't the mafia be able to bribe and/or threaten players and selectors into complying with their wishes?

Put yourself in Zulqarnain's shoes: You are an up-and-coming player, with potential, coming from a poor family. You get chosen to play for your country. You are offered money to lose. The easy path is to take the money, and no-one will know. But your conscience won't allow that, and you refuse. Then your family is threatened. What are you supposed to do? You neither want to take the money, nor do you want your family to be killed. You take the third option: excuse yourself from playing... na rahay ga baans, na rahay gi bansuri. I think this was the only option a reasonable man would've taken. When it's a matter of your loved ones lives, who would willingly take a chance, knowing how strong and powerful the mafia is?

And I also find it hard to believe Zulqarnain did all this "drama" just to get asylum in UK. Why would he want that? As a cricketer, he already HAD been in UK. He would've easily gotten a lucrative contract to play for a county. Every club cricketer in Pakistan plays at some level in the English cricket system, either at the county, league, or club level. Zulqarnain would've gotten the better opportunities, for his performance in the England Test series had been admirable, both with the bat and behind the wicket. Asylum had no incentive for him.

When watching movies, we all root for the honest guy who stands up against the system, fights the evil-doers, and does what's right. In real life, we pounce upon the honest guy for daring to cast aspersions on the integrity of our system. We can all just close our eyes and pretend "All izz well" but that doesn't change the reality.

Re: Selectors take bribe in their first class teams selections - Zulqarnain Haider

This guy is just a crazy, insane, out-of-mind, liar b!tch and nothing more than that. He's just like the fox news channel which even if says truth, its a total lie.

He's no different than those having a trial in British court cuz they all have suffered a huge loss to Pakistani cricket.
