Everyone here opposes India’s oppression of its Muslim population is some parts of that nation, be it in Kashmir or Gujrat or some other place-and rightly so. If India is killing scores of muslims we should raise our voices-and we do, but the problem emerges in our selective loyalty to the muslim “ummah”.
China, a close ally and major supplier of economic investment and arms to Pakistan, is equally if not more guilty of brutalizing muslims then India-but I have not heard Pakistanis criticize China’s countless “Kashmir like situations”.
According to Chinese muslim accounts online-they PRC govt has closed mosques and schools across the nation-the muslims of predominantly Muslim Xinjiang province (and others) are put through countless acts of humiliation frequently.
Where is the opposition to this?
This is inparticular a slap in the face to those on this board who are “Islamic” and talk of an Ummah. Either criticize both nations or leave both cases alone-just be consistant!
Does your compassion for other muslims depend on wether it is in a certain nations strategic interests?
