A. NO!

So lets give him credit and also to BCCI....they know how to promote their players and make them into stars...unlike other very nearby boards.

It was against India against their best bowling attack ever

Srinath,Prasad and Kumble
Then it was in India ur homeground..........Then there was no power plays at that time.....

Well Field restriction for 10 or 15 Overs were in place back then i believe

Coz SL won the WC Final '96 while hitting over the top for the first 10 or 15 Overs

But apart from that ...... Give credit where its due ..... If it is/was a flat track then so it was for other batters as well ..... Pollard is one of the best and strongest hitter but how long did he last ?????? Sehwag has this rare ability not only to hit good balls and up the RR but also last long enough to score a 100 or 200 or 300 (in tests that is) .....

When he scored 300+ in Multan how many others followed up ????

So just stop plain hatred and simply praise the feat for it's sheer endurance .....

BTW All 3 Highest Individual ODI scores have been in India

I Even believe that this Record might not stand long

^ Firstly i gave him credit where it was due i said he is a flat track bully it was enough credit for him

Only 5 overs were available at that time now its 20 overs feel the difference

Excellent analysis AA bhai… I’ll just add one more question to your list to satisfy the criticism that this was against a relatively weak bowling attack.

As most have already commented - this is truely a great achievement! :k: :k: for Sehwag.

Saeed Anwar made that record against his team's Arch-Rival in a pressure match, as they all are against India **IN INDIA.

**Which is a lot different and better than Sehwag doing it against sunday league standard bowlers in India's own backyard.

Congrats anyway, its a feat none-the-less.
