my hubby doesnt want parathas for sehri ..so i made him stuff down porridge with honey ..i made my mixed herbs salted french toast (topped with olives and tomatoes) and gave him 3 almond filled dates …and the strawberry lime smoothie! i hope it lasts him the day since he would be on call and today’s roza is almost 18 hours !
for iftari am planning on making channa chaat and chicken cheese balls along with khajoor and rooh afza IA ..and aloo qeema for dinner !

for sehri today, i had
- glass of water with lemon juice
- cereals
- an apple
-3/4 dates - protein milk shake
and tonight, we are probably gonna make chaat, meat + vegetables samoseys, and cook the rest of yesterday’s barbecue chicken. i want some seekh kebab so bad right now

aww thanks CB yes they are pretty yummy and you could make a lot of variations.
Just beat an egg and milk ..add a little salt, black pepper and (red chilli powder or mixed herbs: optional) and dip your bread in and fry it … when done cut into triangles and on each triangle you can place a piece of tomato, olives and some grated chedder cheese (or any other veggie..i sometimes add a sausage piece too) then microwave the pieces for 20 seconds .

CB oh i love u for this ,at least im not the only one who was behaving like hubbys mother at night time n sehri 
he didnt want any paratha n wanted me to fix something light but i made him eat roti with butter on it along with salan n a big jumbo sized glass of lassi ,n he was like im not gonna drink it ,i have to go to work i dont want to pass out …
n he really passed out n slept like a baby ,fully dressed n sitting on his home office chair, well later we had a nice chat about him not having lassi at sehri

ok, so for sehri we had aloo keema with paratha+ fruitchaat.
Iftar in a few minutes, Dates, Biryaani+red chilli powder chutney+ raita+salad Cant wait! lol 
Sehri tomorrow we are planning Aloo k paratha with yoghurt. 
I sooo want all the pakoras and samosas but mom says only a few times during ramadan is allowed

I had leftover haleem for sehri…with some kajoor to finish.It’s 8:15 now and ALhamduliilah,an not feeling too bad…although stomach growling a tad.
Will be having some chaat,pakoras,and samosas (courtesy of Southall!) and some ishtoo with roti.
For sehri tomorrow,I got some jalebis to soak in milk…

I made khaageena (anday ka salan with pyaz tamatar masala) at sehri.Hubby had it with a paratha and i had it with two brown bread slices. Both of us also had a date and flavored yogurt (activia). I am still confused about iftari. Ofcourse fruit chat will be there, i dont know what else to make i so much want aaloo n palak wale pakoras but

Sehri: Coco shreddies. The rest had keema wale parathay.
Iftari: Fruit chaat, mango milkshake, pakoray, bhuna hua gosht with roti
