Sehri: Toasted cheese sandwich, banana, tea and water Iftari: Dahi barey, fruit chaat, cabbage and onion pakoray, garlic mushrooms, mango shake. Dinner: Chicken biryani, Arvi gosht, palak paneer, mung daal. (I was at mum's so a combined effort).
Today:
Sehri: Mung daal and roti, cereal, water, tea, banana Iftaari:Dhai Baray, Fruit Chaat, Veg. Samosa. Dinner: Karhai gosht and roti.
Hubby had jelly and butter on toast and some greek yogurt and water for sehri. IL came over this evening and brought dinner, so we had MIL's koftas, ande ka salan, tarkari, daal, chawal, etc and I made some lassi.
Yesterday
Sehri:
Mine- quarter makhan wali chappati with khaageena (anday ka salan), half cup tea and a date.
Hubby’s-One paratha with khaageena, date and half cup tea.
Iftaar:
Mine - Pea Pulao and chicken masala, channa chaat and Fanta
Hubbys - Chicken patty, a pizza slice, chicken cheese ball, channa chaat and date + rooh afza
Today
Sehri:
Mine - one waffle, a date and a cup of tea.
Hubbys - One Paratha, palak chicken, date and tea.
ROUGHLY per person it's:1/3 cup milk (I use whole, but skim is fine)2/3 cup yogurt (I use whole)1tsp sugar4-5 ice cubesAll blended togetherMmmmm sooooo good.If you try it, let me know how it comes out. I'll try to pay more attention to the proportions this evening.
Yesterdays iftar and dinner - mixed fruit, roast chicken, kheer, oatmeal-raisin biscuit, some dark chocolate.
Hubby had to work so he had iftar at a fast food place. smacks head But I packed him a banana and some dates. =)
Iftar/Dinner: Stirfry beef with mushrooms and beans served with white rice and some chicken salan that was left over. Oh and lassi. Tea and biscuits followed later.
