I’ve been to quite a few weddings where someone from the bride or grooms family recites a “sehra” which takes the names of all the family members and is basically about good wishes for the newlyweds happiness together. Also, there are some songs that are sung, a popular one is something about the mother daughter relationship…something like ammi ki pyaari something something lol I cannot remember the lyrics fo the life of me. If anyone could remember please do tell!
It’s so beautiful to have so many different rusams and customs and its sad to think our generation hardly knows any
