How do you make seekh kababs on a gas grill…obviously you can’t place them on the grill directly as they may fall apart and burn…so how would you do that?

You can google Kabob Basket and see what they look like.

Re: Seekh kabab's on the grill
Cant you use the bamboo skewers? or even metal ones. The bamboo ones soak them in water before hand. shape the meat on the skewers and then put it on the grill, it usually works. Just make sure not to add too much breadcrumbs/egg/besan whatever it you use to bind, as it can make em too soft for grill.

For seekh kabab from minced keema?

OK guys this is what I did.
Well actually it was hubby's idea. Put an aluminum tray upside down on the grill. Then line the kababs in another tray and put that on top of the upside one. Close and cook. I turned them when they were brownish on one side. They came out great! They kababs were pretty sturdy so just before taking them off, I placed them directly on the grill for a few seconds to get the grill marks!!
