can you IT folks help me out, since yesterday i’m not sure if i’ve downloaded something i should’nt have, but some .exe file is now on my comp causing every page on my web browsers (opera, IE or Firefox) for the pages to load double, to correct the problem i erased firefox and opera from my comp and re-installed them, but still the fault does not go away, help me out with some suggestions plz?

If u know which EXE it is try killing that process and see if double load still happen. Btw u should also check if ENTER button or Mouse buttons are working fine. It might be stuck and causing double clicks instead of single.
Do u remember what u downloaded ?

i was installing real player, and a pop up on screen said it need auth to access an AUSetup.exe file, so i clicked on ok. So with the glitch i’m now receiving today i did a comp search for the .exe in question and its coming up no results. 
i frickin hate windows XP.

Make sure that you make all the hidden files visible before you search for that file. I am still not sure if this program caused that problem. Just keep your antivirus and firewall updated.

Thanx Teegy and Namaan, system restore happens to have corrected the problem. I now have a new problem to deal with, when will it ever end. Arrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!!

haha ... what happened this time Orpheus ?
