Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Jokes aside...why does this matter?
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
U know sometime people label other people as "chalak" even if they stand for their rights or have an opinion...... it depends what are u calling a chalaki.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Welcome to our world ^
If we open our mouth we are outspoken
If we stay quiet we are chalaak
If we were born in Pakistan, came here in a young and grew up here its all good
If we were born here...FU-GET about it!
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Why do some people assume that girls raised in US/UK are challko massies?
They do because they're senseless, outright ignorant or probably the people logic itself chooses to ignore/avoid and instead chooses to march along? Logic knew it cant win everyone the instant it decided to walk down our roads is what I'd want to think.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
:nono:
bohat chalak ho gaee ho
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Seedhi Saadhi larkyan do exist. Xtron has seen it!.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan

Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Its quite wrong notion.
Being Street smart is a plus point in Pakistan urban lifestyle
And Pakistani Boys and girls are Chalaak; where chalaak >>>> Street smart :k:
None Pakistani born girls are obviously not good in this field, so they need a company of Local breed when they need to buy dress and accessories with incumbent haggling around the corner.
Secondly, Pakistani girls are slightly better players in Family and husband manipulation. They discover the ‘hidden buttons’ and they understand the manual pretty fast
They know where to speak loud and clear for specific time and where to stay quite and let the eyes talk ![]()
Keep in mind I am Not talking about Small town girls. They are a different breed altogether.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
What is it with the 'chip on the shoulder' mentality? Some on here are so defensive. Even if a post is in jest or someone posts their opinion without attacking others, some go to great lengths to prove how innocent and misunderstood they are and how the 'other' side is the same or much worse.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Hmm. i really agree that generalizing that girls born and bred in western countries/outside Pakistan are not seedhi saadhi is INCORRECT.
I know a couple of girls, including my own cousin who are born in the US and are so much more religious than the girlfriends i have who are bred in Pakistan.
For example, i know countless number of girls (and boys) who come from Lahore/Karachi to another part of the world and start consuming alcohol and consuming non-halal.
In contrast, my cousins have never touched alcohol and observe the prayers regularly. They may not write urdu but they speak it well, wear desi clothes, go to desi parties and are infact much better Pakistanis/Muslims then people who are from Pakistan.
Even I grew up outside Pakistan but i feel am more cultured, religious etc etc than those from Pak.
On the flip side of the coin, there are people raised in the US who dont follow Islam, dont know nothing about their culture and roots.
In that way, Pakistani girls born and bred in Pakistan are more decent than those awara ABCDs.
Btw, it's not just abt seedhi saadhi larkiyan.... even some larkay are NOT seedhay saadhay...

Exactly. The constant self advertisment is getting quite boring now.
If the US/UK born and raised girls are chalak and outspoken so its probably as natural and necessary as carrying an umbralla in British Isles, because we are, at the end of the day, product of our enviorment. Whats so bad about that? Why get so defensive and cry blue murder when someone tells you that you are supposed to be different from someone living in a completely different continent with a totally different socio-economic set up? How could you grow up in a zealous feminist society, enjoy all sorts of legal and social liberties and claim no I'm as satti sawatri and seedhi sadhi (whatever that means) as some next Pakistani village girl? Why these Western and born and bred women are so ashamed to admit that they are indeed socially more mobile and experienced in professional world than an average Pakistani girl? And yes in order to succeed in these field you do some degree of of mental shrewdness and confidence, Iwould actually feel sorry for you if don't have these qualities. Most Pakistanis girls unfortunately don't get the opportunity to experience these things. I'm not painting them as victims but just suggesting that life there is so pampered and sheltered for some females that as a result they end up being little too simple in their thinking and behaviour.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
you give random individual example and say the generalization is incorrect ?!

Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
The girls are fine. It's the mums that make the girls insane.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Not an expert in this topic - but STA summoned, and I showed up!
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
and a trail of mixed race babies behind me .
I was with you all the way, Khatti Meethi, till I came to this part. Mixed race babies is not a negative.
For prayashchittam, I prescribe homam to be conducted ASAP.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
^ as long as I was on the generalization bandwagon, I thought to throw that in there..I agree with you...absolutely nothing wrong at all with biracial babies!
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
I dunno about all the bcds, but pakistani girls are chalak and super tez.
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
Experience make you chalak or i other words aqalmand. Those who got played hard are chalak & rest are the best.
-JUST A VERY PERSONAL IDEOLOGY!
Re: seedhi saadi larkiyan
This is odd, because I have heard the opposite - girls born here in the UK are seen as seedhi whilst girls from Pakistan are seen as chalak. Reason being because Pakistani girls are stereotyped as having knowledge of 'politics' within the families, how to keep good rishtas, how to behave in front of certain people etc etc, whereas girls born here in the UK are seen as being oblivious to this all - rather, we're taught to say it how it is here, rather than do chalakiyan....I don't know.
Having said all this, I don't agree with either stereotype - anyone can be chalaak. I have seen both Pakistani and British-born girls being both chalaak and bholi. So stereotypes don't reallyl count for much - it's more about how your family raised you and stuff.
Also, what does ABCD etc etc mean?
