****ISLAMABAD: A suicide bombing attempt was foiled in Islamabad and the alleged suicide bomber and mastermind were arrested, Express News reported on Thursday.
According to initial reports, they were planning to attack the Imambargah in Sector G-6, Islamabad on Muharram 9, but security forces foiled the attack by arresting them the night before.
Police also seized suicide jackets and other equipment from them.
The alleged suicide bomber and the mastermind behind the attack were identified as Muhammad Saeed Abdullah and Matiullah. Express News reported that Matiullah is an Afghani citizen and was issued a Pakistani visa on October 20. He had visited Pakistan before multiple times and was deported back to Afghanistan when he was found involved in issuing fake visas.

There was one near Peshawar today, and now this one.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has announced prize of fifty thousand rupees to police and administration for their meritorious performance in defusing explosive on the route of mourning processing in Kot Adu.

Correct. Yesterday they killed 5 or 6 Taliban fasadis readying to blow themselves up to go to hell.
The good thing was that they were killed instead of apprehended. Otherwise our courts, under the able leadership of Iftikhar Talibani, would have let them go.

We were screwed the day we gave refugees to these Afghanistanis
Now they are screwing us everyday
This guy was not a "refugee", he came on a visa, this is just like US gave visa to 9/11 terrorists, they even renewed visa for one of them after he was dead in 9/11 :D

Why isn’t there 24 hours hotline where people can call and give tips? I think that could do wonders in fighting terrorism b/c frankly I think people are fed up.

A thoroughly serious, all round and nation wide anti terrorism initiatives and upgrade programmes could do wonders for the country and economy. The absence of it makes you wonder where did all the US aid money go?
Imagine all the wonders (I'm using the term very loosely here) only our police could do in regards to fighting terrorism if they upgrade their training, increase the general funding and manpower as well as add some transparency and system of accountability in their ranks?
