And they talk about the security of Pakistan’s N Assets…hope this is the only attempt and no one else have successfully carried out these kind of operations…
Data theft foiled at Tarapur N-station Headlines Today New Delhi, December 7, 2009
Two contract workers at the Tarapur atomic power station in Maharashtra have been caught trying to steal vital data from the site.
Authorities at the site said the workers, Prashant More and Amit Shelke, stole two computers containing the data and got past the first security check at the nuclear plant.
The duo was held at the second security post when they failed to answer queries satisfactorily.
The two workers were held by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), whose 300 personnel guard the station.
This is the second security lapse at India’s nuclear installations. A case of sabotage was earlier reported from the Kaiga nuclear plant where an insider contaminated a water cooler with heavy water, leaving several employees radiated.
And they talk about the security of Pakistan's N Assets...hope this is the only attempt and no one else have successfully carried out these kind of operations....
Concern about Pakistan's N assets is because of the existing security situation. The army has been unable to protect its own against attack by armed men , yesterday was the third attack in Rawalpindi which houses the HQ of Pak army. So the fear from one and all is .... what happens if some nuclear material falls into wrong hands !!!!
This event IS of serious concern but kudos to the security personal for foiling this attempt !!!!

So you mean the one who were stealing had good intentions and they were going to use to something good. U are funny
The difference is they have yet to get to our Nuclear sites. Yours on the other hand seem to have retards in HR.
Before you get all charged up read the news ..... all that has happend is that some data was being taken out .... why and what was the reason would be known once investigations are complete .... it is not that some nuclear material was stolen.
As i said the concern for Pakistan's nuclear assests is based on the security situation on ground .... the terrorists have been able to enter the GHQ .... even the recent case of mosque attack, it is said some attackers got away .... so the probality of losing nucelar material is higher in Pakistan hence the concern !!!
And there is more, i wonder if (according to indians) these people were stealing it for peaceful purposes and all they wanted is to encourage world peace and feed the hungry…
