Ok, so Im going Khi in 2 weeks again after 2 years. Now, I know PIA is crap. Im ready for the boring flight. In my hand luggage, Im taking,

-iPod
-Slimline PS2
-Digital Camera
-Mobile Phone
-Altec Lansing iPod Speakers
I will only be using 2 of these things on the plane, but the rest I dont trust to go in normal baggage coz I’ve heard alot of horror stories about things being stolen! But, what are the chances of somebody trying to steal my stuff on the actual plane? Im travelling by myself, so if I need to go toilet, I cant take all my bags with me!
Also, when the XRay machines pick up this stuff at the airport, the staff wont try anything funny will they.
Sorry if I sound Paranoid, but I cant afford to lose all this crap!

The airport staff shouldn't really be an issue at all, since you are carrying the stuff for your personal use and not doing business with it or something.
And on the flight you don't need to worry either. Just try not to create too much attention.
And yeah: I found PIA to be a quite good airline. I wouldn't say excellent, but quite good.

Carry your backpack with yourself. Matter fact dont even check in your heavy luggage. Be a true paki and carry that with yourself in the plane too. And when you have to answer the call of nature, take it all with you to the toilet. Thats the only way to prevent all those other uncivilized paki sons of itches from stealing your worthless crap.
Last time i went to the UK about 7 years ago my Sony discman along with 5 cd's were stolen right from my backpack @ gatwick airport.
never do i go to karachi airport without a sifarish for an airport personnel to accompany me till the boarding longue....
i do not feel comfortable about going thru it on my own....
plus it saves all the hassle of opening up ur luggage for narcotics check and then queueing up for half an hour at immigration....
Karachi airport is really good only had problem once when my mom has some books in a bag and they made her open it for no reason (I mean come on they are just books) but the staff was nice enough to close everything just as it had been (but that maybe becoz my mom yelled at them:cb: )
I do trust people, but not 300+ people on a plane I dont know. You saying I should just leave my wallet and all my stuff on my seat when I got to the bathroom?

Well guys, i believe there are some problems but the picture is not so horrible. By the way can any body claim any where safest and free of problems?/ probably nowhere.
