I am sorry but is this guy the prime minister of Pakistan (or Punjab)? In all meetings of the prime minister with security agencies (army and intelligence chiefs) its always Shahbaz sharif with the PM, as if securing Punjab is the only goal of this government.

I am sorry but even a secure Punjab is not possible in the presence of insecure KPK, Balochistan and Karachi. Infact KPK always has a bearing on Punjab.

well it worked for them in last 5 years, didnt it? keep mum about whoever is living in punjab and it stays relatively unharmed.

It worked in the last three years (2007 to 2010 we saw the worst violence possible), but if they want to solve the issue like that (by brushing it under the carpet) then they dont need any counter terror policy or force for that.

A stupid move. It will come back to haunt him. If he thinks that he can control ‘maut ke saudagar’ by securing Punjab, he is greatly mistaken. Any province breaks from Pakistan, Punjab will no longer survive, how much he put anti-terror foces to secure Punjab.
