How far would you go tell the truth to protect a friend ? When you know something that can devastating. Should you stay quiet?

if its devistates the frend then you dont tell but it devestates you then you have to do a qurbaani and save a frend and tell the truth.

its so tricky- if its something they don't want to hear, it could ruin your friendship by causing resentment or they could blame you for not minding your own business... on the other hand, if your friend finds out later and then is devastated because you knew and didn't tell them, that could wreck things between you two as well. tough choice.

Do try to figure out the effect? Will it be beneficial to them…or would just break their heart and would not produce any result. Do keep that as the utmost important decision in makinga choice. For example if the secret is about a spouse having an affair..and ofcourse it will devastate the friend…but U yourself would be doing her a favor and wouldnt u want to know if it were your spouse?
And if its a truth like ..she or he has like weird looking nose or something…then please dont divulge…(ok that was a weird example)…but u get the point??
