because when the West collaborated with the mujahiddeen/taleban in the past it was against the spread of communism. Neither taleban nor agencies such as ISI in any part, were working against the West.

Now the situation is that** taleban** and at least parts of ISI are working AGAINST us all - West, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan et al

You need to catch up a lot, Taliban fought against Russians (not "communism) as they were ‘invaders/occupiers’ of the country, the same lot is now fighting new ‘invaders/occupiers’, what is the difference?
