Moses was high on drugs: Israeli researcher

High on Mount Sinai, Moses was on psychedelic drugs when he heard God deliver the Ten Commandments, an Israeli researcher claimed in a study published this week.
Such mind-altering substances formed an integral part of the religious rites of Israelites in biblical times, Benny Shanon, a professor of cognitive psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem wrote in the Time and Mind journal of philosophy.
“As far Moses on Mount Sinai is concerned, it was either a supernatural cosmic event, which I don’t believe, or a legend, which I don’t believe either, or finally, and this is very probable, an event that joined Moses and the people of Israel under the effect of narcotics,” Shanon told Israeli public radio on Tuesday.
Moses was probably also on drugs when he saw the “burning bush,” suggested Shanon, who said he himself has dabbled with such substances.
“The Bible says people see sounds, and that is a clasic phenomenon,” he said citing the example of religious ceremonies in the Amazon in which drugs are used that induce people to “see music.”
He mentioned his own experience when he used ayahuasca, a powerful psychotropic plant, during a religious ceremony in Brazil’s Amazon forest in 1991. “I experienced visions that had spiritual-religious connotations,” Shanon said.
He said the psychedelic effects of ayahuasca were comparable to those produced by concoctions based on bark of the acacia tree, that is frequently mentioned in the Bible
His mother was on drugs when she put him in Nile, but really he was with her
Or that the Pharaoh’s wife was on drugs when she found him in the Nile
Or that the great trials of Egypt everyone was consuming drugs
Or that when the Pharaoh let Moses and his people go he was on drugs
Or that when the sea parted all the Hebrews were on drugs
Or when the Pharaoh followed them in, was getting para on the drugs
Or when they found his body as evidence that drowned and then was found then put in the tomb.
What drug taking person can live to a ripe age of 120 …
Oh I guess for the researcher it is all drugs or legend … it’s just another disbeliever.
Who cares , Hazrat Musa gave 10 commandments to his nation and brought them out of the slavery to the forefront. What about this loser ? What has this mad scientist given to his nation ? He is a jealous freak who cannot stand one popularity of one of the most popular personality in the history of mankind. He is trying to gain 15 minutes fame off of one of the superstars.

Iam glad to hear this, the downfall of a nation starts when they come up with this kind of theories ( i call them close-mind theories, where one can only see one side of the picture).
My blessings are for the professor and his friends, i urge more jews to dig into their religions and try to apply science ( drug in this case) on it, provided having close-mind status.
In my view this is a plot to publish this story to convince muslims that look Jews are writing this type of stuff for there prophet, WHY don't you guys become some sort of ROSHAN KHIYAL. (at least at the time when the Danish did it again)
Seriously do you think that all this media owned by Jews would let stories of this nature go out publically.
