Second Try: Regarding the Sunni Topic

From where are you bringing the knowledge of unseen in between??

  1. Didnt Allah have the knowledge of unseen that Iblis who once was the most devoted worshiper of Allah would leter turned out to be His own enemy? Yet we see Allah kept him with him for thousands of years?

  2. Didnt Allah have the knowledge that the wife of his prophet Noah was not going to bring faith in the true religion? Yet He allowed his propeht to marry her?

Does that say that Ayesha is like them?

  1. Didnt Allah have the knowledge that the wife of his prophet Lut was not going to bring faith in the true religion? Yet He allowed his propeht to marry her?

Read the answer above

What are we arguing here? Ok lets make it straight:

even I don’t know what is going on her

  1. Do you deny that Ayesha wasnt jealous of other wivies of Holy Prophet?

The only one who was jealous was Hazrat Zainab

  1. Do you deny that Allah testified that Ayesha’s heart had diverted from the right path? (Surah Tahrim)?

Where? I see nothing, I see no name!

  1. Do you deny that Allah threatened that Ayesha to divorce and said that there were better women available than her for Prophet to marry (Surah Tahrim)?

**Let’s get one thing straight:

Hazrat Ayesha (May Allah be pleased with her) became once jealous because Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa would mention the name of his first wife Hazrat Khadija so much that Hazrat Ayesha said: (May Allah be pleased with her)

**Why do you think of this old lady all the time whereas Allah has given you better and beautfiuller wives?

**Again, where in this Surat is it mentioned? I see nothing. **

  1. Do you deny that Ayesha and Hafsa conspired against Holy Prophet [s] and attributed a lie to Him?

I Deny

  1. Do you deny that she one disrespected Prophet so much that Abu Bakar had to intervene and slap her?

I Deny, when did she disrespecz him? Answer please

  1. Do you deny that Prophet [s[ had clearly predicted that Ayesha will do a rebellion?

**I Deny COMPLETELY. **

  1. Do you deny that Prophet [s] predicted that she will be accompanied by infidels?

I Deny

  1. Do you deny that Prophet [s] warned her to watch out the dogs of Hawab yet she on finding it didnt pay heed to the words of his husband who was also a Prophet and persisted with it?

Refernce please as I DENY!

  1. Do you deny that she violated the instruction of Holy Quran to remain in the house (Surah Ahzab)?

I Deny as I see no name mentioned

  1. Do you deny Prophet had clearly stated that in such a situation, the truth will be with Ali bin Abi Talib [as]? Which obviously means that she was on the path which is contrary to the path of truth!

Where?

  1. Do you deny Ayesha hated Ali bin Abi Talib [as], which according to both Shia and Sunni belief is an act of Kufr and hypocrisy?

I Deny

  1. Do you deny that she murdered thousands of Muslims and the punishment of murdering a single man is very well known in Quran?

I Deny

  1. Do you deny her role in agitation against Uthman which subsiquently murdered him?

I Deny

  1. Do you deny that Quran had clearly made it clear to the wives of Prophet that if they commit a crime/sin, their punishment will be double than those of other woman?

**What has that to do with Hazrat Ayesha (May be Allah pleased with her) in the whole context?

**If you want to answer, please do that in a mild language as the Qur’an tells us to argue with our “opponents” in the best manner and as I see you are truly following the Qur’an

Thank You

:wsalam:

etc…

**Of course no one can deny the above charge sheet since its all documented in Quran and other books! Then what are we arguing for? I mean, what is left to argue ‘after these things’ ?

**Where in the Qur’an? I see nothing…

I don't understand, why are you asking all these questions from Sunnis who have nothing against Hazrat Ayesha (r.a) ?

As you are insisting on this discussion, I am letting this topic go on, but I am warning before time. If like other threads, this thread also leads to disrespectful posts by people against each other's beliefs, I am afraid I would have to lock this thread as well.

*Please only post replies with logical reasoning and authentic referrances without any insult towards anyone's beliefs or personal attacks against anyone. In short, argue within moral limits.

Re: Second Try: Regarding the Sunni Topic

Let me clarify one thing here.

Aisha r.a. was one of the greatest mothers of the believers to walk this earth. 1400 years of historians and scholars weren't that naive and stupid to regard her as such. Especially when majority of the scholars of our nation have deemed her as one of the greatest mothers.

I love our mother Aisha r.a., would look forward to seeing her in heaven, alongside my Prophet pbuh, because he loved her greatly.

I will forever stay firm on this, as have our predecessors.

If this offends someone, then they can keep their opinion about beloved Aisha r.a. and we can keep our, and I do mean the sunnis and shias.

Just dont impose the ideologies amonst each other, and we all should be fine. We can have differences in our beliefs and still coexist as brothers and sisters.

Non muslims dont recognize Prophet pbuh as a Prophet, yet we are still close friends with them. And note the word "friends". Thats all we can be.

Between shias and sunnis, we can still be brothers based on one important factor: la illaha illallah.

Wsalam, My two cents.

Re: Second Try: Regarding the Sunni Topic

brother, this topic has been discussed many a times but unfortuntely more often then not takes unwanted and ugly turns.

Basically there is a different Sunni and Shia view present on Ummul Momineen Ayesha. She is by far the most discussed wife of the Prophet (pbuh&f). I will present for you Sunni and Shia views of her in bullet points and if i make a mistake then i stand to be corrected:

Sunni view:

-Aysha was the favourite wife of the Prophet (pbuh&f)
-Aysha was the best women and best wife of the Prophet (pbuh&f)
-Aysha is the mother of all believers (Quran) and therefore we can not criticize her actions
-Aysha, along with other wives of the Prophet (pbuh&f) is part of Ahlay Bayt (as).

Shia view:

-Shia do not agree her to be the best women nor best wife of the Prophet (pbuh&f)
-Shias do not belief that Ayesha or any other wife of the Prophet (pbuh&f) were part of Ahlay Bayt (as)
-Shia respect and honour the wives just like anything that is associated with the Holy Prophet but say that title "mother of believers" is Quran only in reference that one can not marry the wives of the Prophet (pbuh&f)
-Aysha is the mother of believers but her actions will declare if she was a good mother or the sort of a mother who needs to be dissociated from.
-Her role in history is criticized/scrutinized particularly the events after the death of the holy Prophet (pbuh&f) specially her decision to go out of her house and her fierce opposition to Imam Ali (as).

So there you have it. We are fortunate to live in a time where all the information is at our fingertips. I urge you to do your own search and present your observations here OR if you counter any prolem or confusion then ask people to help you. Some people say that its a 1400 year old problem and we should not worry too much about it. I however find it important to study and learn from history of my religion and particularly about the people who played major role in shaping our religion.
