Second Test-- Pakistan vs Australia at MCG

our players dont know english so doesnt matter if they listen to the coach or not

I think it would be better to replace Khalil with Naved Ul Rana as he is more experienced than Asif. Farhat needs to be dropped…and i can tell u right now they wont drop Razzaq. If i could replace anyone…it wud be Kamran Akmal :smack: Even my 3 year old nephew can bat better than him.

All you Akmal basher's listen(rather read) up.
Akmal is definitely a pathetic batsman, but he's working on it(according to Woolmer). What do our batsmen do? Get them straight first and then go after the keeper. In a Test, a keeper's main job is keeping and if he doesn't waste any chances he's done his job. Look at Patel, he cost India a SERIES WIN AGAINST AUSTRALIA. So be thankfu; for what we have, and give the kid a pat on lhe back for filling Latif and Moin's shoes with such poise.

The only point of interest in this match is whether Australia wins in two or three days.

my team

01 Butt
02 Afridi
03 Younis

I would like to correct you here that he hasnt done his job with the gloves perfetcly either. He dropped most crucial catch of Langer when he was on 13. It was not a hard chance by any means and he should have caught it. Having said that, I will agree with you that he deserves more chances.

Recently we have done bad on our first tests but the second tests have been much better. The only problem is that Australia is too focused of a team to not realize that facotor. Not looking good people, not looking good. May be in one days we might win a game or two against Australia and get our pride back a lil bit.

Since Saby is asked not to open the thread for the 2nd Test but instead a "Buzurg" ...... well i'm not a "Buzurg" but to tell u ppl the truth not a "Buzurg" can help us but only Allah ....... the next dilemma lies in the fact the Allah swt helpe only those who stand up to the task and face it the way it comes which can't be said about our team with a couple of exceptions .......

Harkat mai barkat hoti hai ....... Our main problems was that while batting we were at no point playing like we want to turn the match into our favour from the batting point-of-view

OK Aus ist the best team around but to get bundeled out like this is pretty disgraceful .....

Yes i only have one word for it DISGRACEFUL

Zero-one if we lose this test, then all the previliges of opening threads will be taken away from you also. You are taking a big risk here. Lekin if we win, then you will be opening all the threads for one whole year.

so guys what would be your team for this upcoming 2nd test.
mine would be

1)Yasir hameed bcz farhat played like a shi*
2)Salman Butt he's new so let's give him a chance
3)Younis Khan
4)Yoyo
5)inzi
6)malik/afridi/asim kamal
7)akmal
8)asif/rana
9)sami
10)akhtar
11)Kaneria

10 Shoaib

I would just recall Taufeeq in your team and drop Akmal for good. If it is every possible. I don't know how they can leave such a brave opener behind for Austrailian tour. I bet if we had given him as much chances as we gave to Farhat parchi, we would have found our own Langer.

I will play Afridi as a specialist leg spinner and bat him at No 8.

01 Butt
02 Taufeeq
03 Asim
04 Inzi
05 Youhana
06 Younis
07 Rana
08 Afridi
09 Sami
10 Shoaib
11 Danish/Razzaq

Now this is the best test team for Austrailian tour in the provided talent we have. It will be hard for McGrath and Co to demolish this batting line that easily. Alteast it can give us 200+ easily. And if one of the guy stick to wicket to make a century, he can have all the support with batt till the last man...Rana, Afridi, Sami, Shoaib and Razzaq are good supporters.

Re: Re: Second Test-- Pakistan vs Australia at MCG

U mean to say i shall start a “Chilla” until the nest Test and keep praying “Tahajud” … but having said that if our jokers still couldn’t do will riding on a support by the whole nation with their prayers what shall i “gunehgaar” be capable of ???

I guess i hereby just lost the right to open any thread for a whole year :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Yaar...I have enough of this Aussie shyt of superiority complex...

Pakistan is in noway a lesser team!

Radical environment...radical changes...Afridi as captain and be prepared for a lots of firework. A firework beyond Aussies imaginations. Drop Woolmer! :)

Woolmer wanted to change the batters to play 'V' (What the heck is that?). Players have been playing sqaure leg all over their lives...could they change overnight just by telling them...what a bad insighter coach...damn! Better higher a coach who is embedded in Pakistan Crickters' psyche. When matches are lost...mostly the coaches are fired and not the players.... Coaches must guide the team * á la carte * during the match as the match situation fluctuates and not before (rhetoric] and after [excuses].

From here on...we should make a plan to defeat Australia in the next 2 matches and also win the ODI series.

I am a little busy now and will reveal my plans later in this thread.

Take it easy! :)

u can't get taufeeq unless some1 gets injured in the current squad and then we call for the back up.also asim kamal is not suitable for no3 spot.he's far better at no6.and he has prooved it by batting at no6 spot.

Do you really think a comeback is possible?
If seniors can't lead by example, can we really expect our juniors?
I personally feel after the expected drubbing, we need a stronger and aggressive captain, isn;t that our culture?
No feedback and talking after aus were 5/78...

i,ll say kick farhat.s ass sohe, llget injured and we can recall taufeeq umar(best opener in PAKI)

and i will say this team should play next test

  1. TAUFEEQ
  2. BUTT
  3. YASIR
  4. YOYU
  5. INZI
  6. ASIM KAMAL
  7. SHOAIB MALIK
  8. KAMRAN AKMAL
  9. MUHAMMAD SAMI 10.SHOAIB AKHTAR 11.DANISH KANERIA /shabeer if we can recall him

and nope there is no better team than this...

shabbir is not even fully fit yet.he's targetting VB series but i'm not sue if they gonna select him.

Punjabi_moonda that is the best list of players anyone can up with I hope Paki selectors have the same taste as you. I am not a big fan of Younis Khan unless he's the wicket keeper which would be a stupid tactic for a test match. Take care!

Pathatic display of cricket ever i witness from Pakistani team.
