Hey Fashionistas!
So I always need a second opinion being the only girl around my home. My brother and my husband suck at helping me pick out anything and my mom can never seem to understand what I’m talking about over the phone lol. She automatically says, “Nahi ye naheen aacha lagay ga, khaidai se kapray bana na” her famous line for my style which she never gets! lol
Anyways, if you guys want to keep this going, thats cool. But I might be posting in here a lot lol
I wanted to know what you guys would think about this outfit with sleeves. I am thinking fitted churidaar sleeves, or would it be to much of a burst of the print?? I love it sleeveless, but I will have more op to wear it if I get it made with sleeves. Love love love, the flow of this out. I would also like to know, can it be made with anything other than silk? (Dont know if thats a question for the ladies of the bazaar forum!) Another fabric that would still keep its flowey look?
Re: Second Opinion Thread - What do you guys think?
I think its beautiful...for the sleeves...I am not entirely sure. If you went with solid sleeves...that would compromise the look of the outfit. If you went with a smaller print...what kind of print would it be? Maybe a sheer, light fabric?
Re: Second Opinion Thread - What do you guys think?
i agree reha, adding sleeves of a different kind definitely compromises the whole look! definitely something sheer i guess but then how hard will it be to find a complimenting print!... but i definitely forgot about a net, or lace?? hmmmm??
Re: Second Opinion Thread - What do you guys think?
Plain, fitted sleeves (churidaar or not) would look best but they may look out of place with all that print. So, I would make the back of the shirt in plain fabric too and keep the print for the front. Then the sleeves and the back will be seamless.
Crinkle chiffon just has the slightest wrinkling in it and provided you get a good quality one, it is very soft and flows very well. It is very transparent though. Chiffon suits usually need lining. So if you don't want transparent sleeves but you also don't want them to become bulky, just use two layers of chiffon. In a light colour, they won't be completely opaque but perhaps about 80%.
Re: Second Opinion Thread - What do you guys think?
i dont mind transparent at all! thanks for the ideas guys. i too do not like the baby pink patti. I'd prefer another complimenting thats darker, pastels dont suit me in particular.

I would the go for the deep purple colour in the pattern ;)
Re: Second Opinion Thread - What do you guys think?
I'd have sleeves of the same material as the dress. Have them plain white. Not curidaar but fairly tight with the same pink pati on the ends of the sleeves.
Re: Second Opinion Thread - What do you guys think?
Can i ask for a second opinion here too??
Work computer won’t let me post a pic, but if anyone could take a minute to check this out and let me know if its worth buying? I don’t really really love it, but it fits my need and my budget. I don’t buy a bag very often, so when i do im very fussy. Not after big brands just looking for something strong and sturdy, as it will get used daily.
