This thread made me think of something (please don’t move the question to the religion forum). If the wife has a stepchild with her husband, obviously the son is not her biological child. In the event the father dies, is the child her mehram or not? I’m not asking from a buri nazar perspective, but the interaction the two take for granted - like her not being required to wear hijab in front of her husband’s son, would it be required after her husband’s death?

And should something like this be considered when considering whether the husband should marry again?

because a woman cannot marry a father and a son (together or one after the other) that is why son of her husband and father of her husband are mehram to her (whether hubby is alive or dead).
