Oh Monk , you asked the question that I have often thought of asking .. what is it with people over dramatizing the first love 
Come on people .. clearly if your first love didnt work out something was missing in that equation .. why not value the present equation more where you achieve alot more in your current love then the freaking first love ..

well its just like taking a well-grown plant with its roots out of the ground and planting it somewhere else. Yes it do get ground for its roots for the second time but it has to struggle a lot in order to adjust itself, at times plants die and sometime they start growing again but still the plant will not be the same, like it was before. :) hope you guys got the idea what i am trying to say.

Nope , first love is totally over rated in my opinion .. you only try to hold on to it coz you didnt get it .. its human nature you always value the lost things more !
but honestly, putting sensitivities aside, if you lost your second love, you would more or less feel no difference between first or second love !
The hype is nothing but people playing with your mind by constantly creating so much glamour around first love ! Logically speaking how can someone who truly enjoys their current love keep on thinking , that , their current love is not special , but their first love was ?

thinking and experiencing is different, in cases when both sides are equally in depth of love but they still dont make it, its the hardest to accept and in case if one side was sincere and other was not then its kind of not that much hard to forget. Love is not something that you can get anytime you want or anytime you wish for it. True love is a blessing and is hard to find and more painful to loose. Its not psychological or physical, its spiritual.
