This is surreal!! Looks like this hospital is taking ‘Universal Precautions’ lightly. Either that, or CDC messed up by saying it is not an airborne contagion. This shouldn’t be happening in a developed country in a hospital setting.
Re: Second healthcare worker tests positive for Ebola
Ooooooh now it emerges that the 2nd healthcare worked took a domestic flight between catching the disease and being diagnosed. CDC is trying to track down all passengers on the same flight as hers.
Re: Second healthcare worker tests positive for Ebola
What about people who were around her at the airport? If being on the plane with her was a risk what about security personnel patting her down, other passengers in the departure lounges etc etc
Re: Second healthcare worker tests positive for Ebola
There is no end to that nightmare. But fortunately it transmits through fluids ( or so says CDC ), so the concern should be the people that used the same restroom as her at the airport. Cleveland is one of the major hubs for air travel, so the risk keeps multiplying.
Now we hear one of the persons that handled the sample from the original ebola patient is on a cruise.
