Yes, thank you.
But those who won’t accept it today will also be the ones that complain tomorrow when the new system they bring about fails just as it did the last time around. its a cycle.

Well, Pak govt isn't responsible for a war it didn't create. Firstly, the Pak govt isn't necessarily the one calling the shots in FATA, nor are they responsible for what the taliban does or does to do, and nor are they capable of preventing the US from fighting its war on its own terms.
The govt has to work within the confines of its own capacity. Your expectations of this govt would be reasonable perhaps in a country that isn't Pak and has a more mature economic, and political system. But Pak being what it is, the govt can only do so much. The sad truth is that the govt has to pretend to have a much larger influence and much greater capacity then it does. But in reality, it is beholden to the Generals, the US, powerful lobbies and financial institutions keeping the country afloat.
I think under the circumstances we should sympathize. I can't begin to imagine what it is like running a country like Pak in real terms, and dealing with complexities of global politics. If wikileaks has taught us anything, its that behind closed doors, behind the hand shakes and smiles, there is a great deal of arm twisting and a lot of stuff that could only be described as sinister.

Latest reports coming in that Faisal Hayat has said that he will not be taking oath as a minister under Raja Rental.
Good on him if he does what he says. Though I guess him voting for the new Prime Minister has got more to do with his party line.
