With the nomination and hood-winked selection of new PM, the “allies” have proven to be a party to the circus that is touted as being a democracy. Infact, it is far from it. In a real democratic system, it is the public’s interests that are supreme. Yet what we see is the interests of the “selected” representatives, their kin and kith’s interest being looked after at the cost of general populace.

It should leave no doubt in the mind of all those observing how treacherous this set up has come to prove itself in the past 4+ of misGovernance.

Hope is that Supreme Court will continue to uphold and enforce the law and give proper punishment to all those found guilty of defiling the integrity of the Pakistani public interests.

The beauty of the system is that when the elections roll around, those that have failed to fulfill their mandate will be thrown out.

This may not be an ideal form of democracy, but then what is? Give me one democracy in which the public interest is ALWAYS supreme.

Remember, a democratic govt can be voted out, but a dictator is thrown out by force if at all.
