LONDON: Pakistan’s medical and engineering educational institutions have reserved some seats for foreign students of Pakistani origin for the session 2002-2003 under Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) and Self-Financing Scheme (SFS).
Under PTAP and SFS, some seats have been reserved in degree programmes for MBBS, BDS, B Pharmacy and BE for admission of foreign students of Pakistani origin in various colleges and universities in the country for the session 2002-2003, said official sources here on Wednesday.
Those desiring for applying for these seats can send their applications to the Pakistan Community Welfare Division, Pakistan High Commission in London headed by Counsellor Muhammad Niaz Butt by October 7.
Yeah, I got in on PTAP (Pakistan Technical Assitance Program). It's great that the gov't actually offers such programs for Pakistani students living abroad. Big monetary difference between PTAP and Self-Finance.
For Canadians (Toronto), you should contact the Pakistani Embassy and the head over there is also a doc, making it easier on the communication part of it all. Also, try and apply before the deadline :) It helps.
