Summer: Bar B Q !!!!!! We are fanatical about grilling out in our family!!!
Winter: haleem...the ultimate comfort food... Grilled cheese sandwiches w/tomato basil soup is a fav lunch when it's cold out!
Rainy Weather: pakoras are a must!!

winter: haleem, paye, chaney ki daal ka halwaa, besan ke laddu. In my own home ... chilli
rain; pakorey ofcourse, stir-fried chaney ki daal, stir-fried peas

a cold weather only food item is a bread bowl of steaming creamy soup.

My dad made paaye yesterday, I don't like it though.
But during the winter.....let's see.....chicken corn soup, paaye, gajar ka halwa come to mind.

Paaye, haleem, kaddu ka halwa (I think it's pumpkin/squash halwa lol) in the winter. So yum.
Def pakoras & chai when it's rainy. What is up with that? =/

In rainy weather: pakoray, chai
Summer: nihari, biryani

winter: besan k parathey with lehsun ki chatniii, haleem and kadii
rainy weather:dahi barey,channa chaat,pakorey,pani poori and ice creme
summer: masoor daal,kaali daal chawal with salad,pappad and achaar

I don't eat desi food much but when i am in mood i make really good keema rolls. Very good mix veges with potato soup. Make avacado chicken sandwich. I actually do not have any weather preference food but i wouldn't mind having pakorays once in a while. Also Only if i knew how to make them good eh!. My sister tells me all the time but i somehow i just can't get it right.
