so, Eid-e-qurban is upon us and many of us are hunting for professional butchers to come to our houses on Eid day to slaughter the animal and then cut it up. by now, we have come to realization that there aren’t simply enough butchers to go around which leads us to settle with seasonal saRak-chhaap / seasonal butchers for the job. professional butchers are not only hard to find but also expensive to hire and on top of that inke naKhre…uffff!!!

you can’t trust your loved bakras in the hands of these untrained, unprofessional and inexperienced butchers but you got to because you got no choice.

now, the question is:
**
-have you ever hired one of those seasonal butchers?
-if yes, did he do a good job?
-how much did he charge you for his services?
-did you have a hard time to find them?**

btw, how much these professional butchers charge for their services in major cities of Pakistan?

No, I never hired seasonal butcher, but they were hired by my family members when we used to sacrifice of cow.
They did average job.
I don’t know.
Seasonal butchers are available easily.

I hire professional butcher. I took my bakra to meat shop. He completed the job in 2 hours. He charged me Rs. 1500.
I saved the skin of my animal while my Bakra was sacrificed in MQM stronghold … :champ:

For Cow, rates on first day are Rs 4000 on next day Rs 3000.

For Bakra.. on Eid day Rs 1200-1500 and next day its Rs 800- 1000

Considering inflation, people normally take part in 'ijtimai Qurbani', where hissa (part) in cow is Rs 7500 -8000 (they will arrange everything from animal the qasai and you just have to pick meat).

PS: For those, who don't know concept of hissa, as per Islamic traditions, a cow can be used for 7 sacrifices (i.e. for 7 persons).
