Sometimes I would see “Who’s Online” and I see some people “Searching Forums” and it’s normally those same people everyday doing the same thing.
So if you are one of those people, are you actually searching or are you doing something else but Gupshup shows you as if you are searching forums? 
I wanted to ask this for a long time and today I finally asked this question and now it’s off my chest

I think people use searching forums as a short cut, waise I don't do it that's why I don't even know what's this. I can only manage one thing at a time

Cadet you may be right because it has to be something that people do quite a lot and everyday and that sounds like it.
Elegance I sometimes search too but when I am looking for something specific, like the introductions thread that is on top of cafe, I had to search for it yesterday.

*Shikra it is when someone clicks on "new posts", then it brings up the last X nr of replied threads up by running some SQL queries, for those thread tables that have been altered, so they are resulted in as new threads to display. Sometimes if there are lots of users online, and everyone is pressing "new posts" links, it can cause the server cpu load to go a lil bit high, is liye baar baar "new posts" ko dubanay say parhaiz karna chahiye.
Main kabhi who is online nahi dekha, siraf who is offline dekhta hooN.

hmmm well to b honest i tend to cme on gupshup n see new posts then perhaps stay in a thread or cafe n end up watching smething on youtube for the next half hour:blush:

Hmmm....so that's why everyday we see many people "searching forums". Shukar hai mujhe pata chal gaya, warna mein unn sab larkiyon ko PM kar k poochney wala tha k kia search karti rahti hain.

GS search engine runs on Diesel while the Google search engine runs on Gasoline. That's what I can think of.

I came across gupshup when I was trying to find out a few images of Pakistan. I didn't join at that time. I came across it again in the poetry section and decided to join at that time.
